ABOUT THE GOLDEN MANE SOCIETY

The Golden Mane Society is the Colorado Springs Christian Schools Alumni Association 2.0. The original alumni association was a strong and robust collection of graduates and other members of the community who cared deeply for CSCS and desired to continue their connection and impact after graduation. For a number of reasons, that group disbanded in the late 1990s.

For nearly 30 years, our graduates continued to stay in contact with each other, plan reunions, and supported the school through other avenues. Many sent their own children to CSCS and served with the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Some came back and joined staff, to serve the next generation of students. The continuity and impact that alumni have on CSCS never ceased.

With a renewed purpose and organizational support, the new Golden Mane Society was born in 2025. Even as the lion marches forward, it's golden mane flows behind it, leaving a regal trail of prestige, power, and legacy. The Golden Mane Society stands as a "great cloud of witnesses" (Hebrews 12:1) who have gone before our students, standing as royal forebearers of the heritage of Colorado Springs Christian Schools and its timeless mission of Christ-centered education.

And we're just getting started. We look forward to the day when alumni can be there to welcome our newest graduates into the fold, meet and encourage each other through professional networking, and bless the next generation with scholarships. We trust that the Lord will "do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" (Ephesians 3:20) through the Golden Mane Society.
